The cost of this is covered on most private health insurance policies and on the Medical Card/Doctor Visit Card. 

 

For patients attending from other practices for treatment and a referral letter from your treating doctor stating your diagnosis of haemochromatosis and any recent blood tests is required at the first attendance.
